Parent Workshop with Mike McLeod

  • Congregation Or Ami 708 Ridge Pike Lafayette Hill, PA, 19444 United States (map)

Join us for a practical, eye-opening parent workshop on the skills that drive behavior, learning and maturity: executive function, emotional regulation, attention and the impact of today’s tech environment. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of why kids struggle (even bright, capable kids), what’s really happening in the brain during meltdowns, shutdowns and power struggles and how to respond in ways that actually build skills—not just compliance. We’ll cover concrete, immediately usable strategies to improve follow-through, reduce conflict at home, strengthen motivation and independence and create healthier boundaries with screens and devices. This session is designed for all families—whether your child is thriving, struggling, anxious, distracted, unmotivated or “fine at school but falls apart at home.”

All are welcome! Please register on Or Ami’s website by February 17.
